Kiari

Kiari is a scenic hamlet located in the south-western part of Leh District of Jammu and Kashmir. It is at an altitude of 13,070 ft above sea level. Gaik is about seven kilometers north of Kiari.

Kiari is flanked by Pongunagu on its west and Kumdok on the east. Short treks and hikes can be arranged from here to upland villages. The Indus River that meanders through Kiari adds to the charm of this place.

Kiari can be approached easily from Mudil, which is 13 km away. A trek from Tirido also leads to Kiari.
