Khudi Tebha Embroidery




The Khudi Tebha Embroidery is practiced by the Harijan community belonging to the Kutch District of Gujarat. The designs are made with a simple running stitch containing small diamond shaped structures at regular intervals. These diamonds are either left open or filled, depending on the desired pattern. This embroidery is most often employed in decorating quilts.
