Khudaganj is perched at an altitude of 219 ft above sea level in Nalanda District of Bihar. Bihar Sharif is 19 km north-east of Khudaganj.
Mohana River, a major river of the district, passes through the town. Prominent tourist spots are Nalanda, Rajgir and Pawapuri. Chhath festival, dedicated to Surya, is a major festival of the region.
