Khed is a small settlement on the
National Highway 4, about 12 km north of
Nasrapur, in
Pune District. It is 10 km east of
Adoli and 17 km west of Purandhar.
Pune - the district headquarters – is 22 km to the north.
Bhatghar Dam (Llyod Dam), Purandhar Fort, the pilgrim center of Jejuri, the historic sites in and around Pune and Pashan Lake are some tourist options available for visitors to Khed.
Pune Lohegaon Airport and Sasvad Road Railway Station serve Khed.
