Khed

Khed is situated on the southern border of Ahmednagar District and is 14 km south-west of Rassin. The village lies near the district’s border with Solapur District and Pune District. Ahmednagar, the district headquarters, is about 80 km north, while Pune is 106 km towards the north-west. Great Indian Bustard Wildlife Sanctuary, Rehekuri Blackbuck Sanctuary and the pilgrimage site of Kurkumb near Daund are some tourist options available for visitors to Khed.
