Khed is a historic place situated in Barmer District of Rajasthan. It was caputred by Rao Siha - the founder of the Rathore clan, from the Guhil
Rajputs.
Major point of attraction here is an ancient Vishnu Temple of Ranchhrij, surrounded by a crumbling wall. A beautiful idol of Lord Garuda can be seen at the temple gate. Other places worth visiting include Berhma Temple, Bhairav Mahadev Temple and a Jain Temple.
