Kharkai River



Kharkai River is one of the main tributaries of the Subarnarekha River and it rises from the Chota Nagpur Plateau. It passes through Bokaro, Ranchi, West Singhbhum, Seraikela and East Singhbhum districts of Jharkhand, and merges with the Subarnarekha River at Sankchi. This meeting point is named Rivers’ Meet. Tata Zoological Park is situated at the confluence of the rivers.
