Kharhana




The town of Kharhana lies close to the western border of Rohtas District in Bihar. It is around 20 km to the north-west of Sasaram.

Kharhana is located at an altitude of 272 ft above sea level. The town shares its border with Siwan in the north, Khurmabad in the south, Jahanabad in the west and Kharari in the east.

Rohtasgarh Fort, on the Kaimur Hills, is the major tourist site in the neighborhood. Bhaluni Dham and Tarachandi are noted for its pilgrim spots. Gurdwara Chacha Phaggu Mal is of paramount importance to the Sikhs.

The nearest access points are Varanasi Airport and Kudra Railway Station.
