Khanqah-e-Moulla

Khanqah-e-Moulla, also known as the shrine of Shah-e-Hamdan, is situated on the banks of the Jhelum River, in Srinagar of Jammu and Kashmir. It was built by Sultan Sikander (1389-1413 AD) in memory of the Muslim saint, Mir Syed Ali Hamdani, who popularized Islam in Kashmir. Devotees flock here during Mir Syed Ali Hamdani's death anniversary, which falls on the sixth day of Dul-Haj - the last month in the Islamic lunar calendar.
