Khal Lam Dance

Khal Lam (also Khaul Lam) is a traditional dance of Mizoram. It is performed by the men folk of Mizos. The participants wear one type of stripped loin cloth along with a lined shawl.

As the beats gong, the dancers arrange themselves in a row and start dancing by putting steps forward and backward in a rhythmic manner. They also lash their arms along with the steps.
