Khaknar




Khaknar is a taluk headquarters town situated towards the north-eastern part of Burhanpur District, in Madhya Pradesh. Located about 27 km north-east of Burhanpur and surrounded by dense forests, this place offers a pleasant atmosphere for visitors.

Khaknar forest is one of the five sites in central India where the Spotted Owlet are found.

Raja Ki Chhatri Monument, Lal Deval Temple, Gurdwara Rajghat Sangat Pahili Pathshai, Faruqui Fort, Omkareshwar and Asirgarh Fort are the tourist spots nearby.
