The town of Khajurhat is situated in south-central part of
Faizabad District, about 140 km from
Lucknow. It lies 7 km south of Bikapur and 16 km north of Haidarganj.
Shravan Jhula Mela, held at Ayodhya, is one of the important festivals celebrated in the district.
Lying on the state highway connecting Faizabad and Sultanpur, Khajurhat is connected by road and rail. Nearest airport is Amausi Airport.
