Khadur Sahib




Khadur Sahib is a beautiful village located about 30 km south-east of Amritsar. This village is popular as the religious center of Guru Angad Dev, the second Sikh guru. Situated close to Goindwal, Gurdwara Khadur Sahib is a major point of attraction.

The family home of Guru Angad is at Khadur Sahib. Thara Sahib and Killa Sahib are nearby gurdwaras easily reachable from here. Khadur Sahib, with its idyllic surroundings, attracts a large number of devotees.

The famous Beas River meanders through this village. Tarn Taran, a major tourist spot, is located nearby. Amritsar International Airport is the nearest airport.
