Khadakwasla, home of the National Defence Academy, is about 22 km south-west of
Pune.
It is a picturesque spot and an ideal weekend getaway with a lake and a big dam constructed in pre-independence period. Sinhagad and Peacock Bay are the other interests near Khadakwasla.
