Kerala Kalaripayattu Academy, formerly the Institute of Malabar Physical Culture, is situated on the Pillayar Kovil Road in Kannur, Kerala. It is a dedicated group of individuals concerned with the future of Indian martial art, especially Kalaripayattu. Kerala Kalaripayattu Academy is recognized by the Ministry of External Affairs (Government of India) and is a member of the Kerala Kalaripayattu Association under the Kerala Sports Council.
The center offers regular certification courses in Kalaripayattu, Kalari - chikitsa, massage therapy and
marma science. Traditional Kerala style homes are available for long-term students and teachers and their families. Traditional Kalari treatments are also offered.
