Ken, one of the sixteen perennial rivers of
Madhya Pradesh, is a tributary of river
Yamuna. It flows about 55 km through
Panna National Park from north to south. Hence, it is a source of drinking water for animals including gharial (a rare crocodile) as well as a large number of aquatic fauna. Numerous streams accompany Ken at
Panna.
Raneh Falls, on Ken River, is noted for its rock formation. Chitrakut and Banda are the other areas through which it flows. Finally, Ken meets at the Betwa-Yamuna confluence.
