Kempty

Kempty is located in Tehri Garhwal District of Uttaranchal. It lies near the district�s border with Dehradun District. It is around 15 km north-east of Mussoorie.

The name Kempty is derived from �camp-tea�, as Britishers organized tea parties here. The place is famous for the Kempty Falls.
