Keibul Lam Jao National Park




Keibul Lam Jao National Park, located on the edges of the Loktak Lake, is about 32 km from Imphal. This 40 sq km sanctuary in Imphal West District of Manipur is a hunting reserve for waterfowl and is famous for the Sangai or Manipur brow-antlered deer.

The best time to visit is December to May. Accommodation is available in the government rest house and tourist lodge.

Imphal Airport is the closest airport and Dimapur Railway Station is the nearest railhead, 229 km away.
