Kavi Narmad Central Library is located opposite to Umra Police Station, in
Surat,
Gujarat. It was founded in memory of the famous Gujarati poet Narmad, in 1991.
Kavi Narmad Central Library has a main hall, periodicals section, children's section, students' reading hall, Narmad room, reference section, thesis room and audio video section. It has a wide collection of books dealing with computer information technology, medicine, engineering, literature, travel-literature, astrology and spiritual contemplative.
The library functions from 08:00 to 20:00 hrs.
