Kavalangad

Kavalangad is a small village located midway between Kothamangalam and Neriyamangalam, in Ernakulam District. It is situated on State Highway 16, about 8 km east of Kothamangalam and around 26 km south-east of Perumbavoor.

Cheeyappara Waterfalls, Valara Waterfalls, Bhoothathankettu and the 15th century Marthoma Cheriapally at Kothamangalam are some places worth visiting in the neighborhood. The enchanting hill station of Munnar is 68 km to the east.

Nearest airport is at Kochi. Angamaly Railway Station serves Kavalangad.
