Kausalya Bhawan is believed to be the residence of Kausalya - the mother of Lord Ram. It is situated at Ayodhya in Faizabad District of Uttar Pradesh. The building now houses a temple enshrining the image of Lord Shiva, believed to have been installed by Kausalya.
