Kauriyalaghat




Situated on the banks of the Ghaghra River near the Bahraich District border, Kauriyalaghat is a small but beautiful rural town in Kheri District. This town, which lies to the north-east of Kheri and Lakhimpur, is easily accessible from the state highway connecting Sitapur, Lakhimpur with Banbirpur, a town on the Indo-Nepal border. Its neighboring towns are Tinukia, Banbirpur and Motipur.

Katarniaghat Sanctuary, situated in Bahraich District, is a nearby place of tourist interest.

Kauriyalaghat Railway Station and Amausi Airport are the nearest access points. Accommodations are available at Palia.
