Kaudiyala is situated 380 m above sea level on the
Rishikesh-
Badrinath highway in
Tehri Garhwal District. It is encompassed by dense forests and is an ideal site for white water rafting and rock climbing. Visitors can view a variety of wild animals in their natural habitat. Rafting equipments, trained guides and riverside camping facilities with restaurant and dining hall are available there.
Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam Limited (GMNV) conducts river-rafting courses.
The major part of transportation is carried out by local transport union and state transport buses. The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun. The closest railway station is at Haridwar.
