Kattachal is a hamlet in Kollam District, situated about 6 km from Oyoor and about 6 km from Kottiyam. It lies on the Ithikkara – Oyoor road. The Ithikkara River borders the village. Nearby villages are Aduthala, Chenkulam and Kummalloor. Chathannoor and Pooyappally are easily accessible from here.
