Established in 1955 at
Mangalore, Kasturba Medical College (KMC) is a constituent college of
Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE.) It is recognized by the Medical Council of India. The college offers courses leading to MBBS, MD, MS, DM, MCH, MPT, and MSc and Post Graduate Diploma and Certificate courses in various subjects related to medical field. KMC also provides Ph D Program in anatomy, physiology, biochemistry and microbiology.
KMC Mangalore has large infrastructure such as 28 AC lecture/seminar halls, a conference hall, a convention center, 9 hostels and sports ground.
Kasturba Medical College has tie ups with Loma Linda University for Research, University of Tulane for Medical Education and Operation Eye Sight Universale for Clinical Research.
