Kashayadhara is a traditional ayurvedic treatment similar to
Thailadhara. It is a cleansing technique and is very soothing to the patient. In this treatment, measured herbal decoctions, mixed with honey, are dropped into the eyes from a specific height for a specific period. It is done usually for a period of seven days.
Any therapy in the eye generally starts with Kashayadhara. It is also ideal for a variety of diseases such as headache and trauma.
