Karunakara Perumal Temple is situated at Tirukkaarakam in
Kanchipuram District. The presiding deity of the temple is
Lord Vishnu in the form of Karunakara Perumal along with his consort Goddess Padmamani Nachiyar. Facing the south, the deity is seen in standing pose. The temple
teertham is Akraya Teertham. Thirumangaialwar has glorified the temple with his poems.
