Karela




Karela lies midway between Hansi and Gohana, about 6 km south of Jai Jai Wanti, in Jind District. It lies near the district’s border with Hissar District, around 20 km south-east of Narnaud and 28 km south of Jind - the headquarters town.

Sundar branch of the Western Yamuna Canal flows through its south-western part. Pushkara and Kayasodhana teerth are the sacred sites in the neighborhood.

Nearest airport is Indira Gandhi International Airport. Jind Junction Railway Station serves Karela.
