Karbindha

About 110 km north-east of Dhanbad, Karbindha is situated midway on Dumka-Ramgarh road in Dumka District, Jharkhand. The district headquarters, Dumka is around 20 km to the south. Basukinath Temple, noted for its unique local architecture, is around 25 km south-west of the town at Jarmundi. Major tourist destinations such as Tharia Pani and Tapat Pani (hot water springs) are within a short distance. The nearest railhead is Jasidih Junction Railway Station (in Deoghar District) and airports are Gaya Airport and Patna Airport.
