Karadi Village, situated about 60 km from
Surat, is assocaited with the father of the nation,
Mahatma Gandhi. It is the place where Gandhi was arrested after the historic Dandi march. A small hut, used by the Mahatma, is well preserved here. Main attraction is a small museum called Gandhi Museum.
Accommodation facilities are available for the tourists. The historic salt center Dandi is the nearby attraction. Nearest railhead is located about 15 km from here.
