Kapal Mochan




Kapal Mochan, also known as Gopal Mochan, is situated 17 km north-east of Jagadhri town, on the Bilaspur-Ranjitpura road, in Ambala District.

This ancient place is a destination for both Hindu and Sikh pilgrims. It is believed to be the destroyer of all sins. A tank is situated here, where a dip is considered sacred.

The significance of this place is evident from the Mahabharata and Puranas. Gurdwara Kapal Mochan is one of the major attractions here. Guru Gobind Singh had visited this place and stayed and worshipped here for 50 days.

The place has good road communication with major cities like Ambala, Karnal and New Delhi. Nearest railway station is at Yamunanagar, which is 20 km away.
