Kanikandeeshwarar Temple




Kanikandeeshwarar Temple is located on the Karukinil Amarnthaval Temple Street in Kanchipuram. The presiding deity is Kanikandeeshwarar. The temple also houses the shrines for Padavettamman (Padaiveettamman), Vinayaka, Subramanya and Lord Bhairava. The sanctum-sanctorum shelters the idol of Lord Shiva. The figure of Nandi stands near the idol.

To reach this place, the nearest railway station is the Arakkonam Railway Station, located to the north-east of Kanchipuram.
