Kanch Mandir

Also known as 'Seth Hukamchand Temple'

Kanch Mandir is located near Rajwada in Indore. This Jain temple is made of mirrors and is also known as Seth Hukamchand Temple. It was constructed by Hukamchand Seth in the early 20th century. The temple is dedicated to Lord Mahavir and Mahavir Jayanti is the main festival celebrated here. Externally, the temple is very plain but inside, the walls and ceilings are entirely covered with mirrors giving a unique visual effect and creating illusion. The temple is one of the main tourist attractions of Indore.
