Kanajari




Kanajari is a village situated in the Nadiad Taluk of Kheda District, Gujarat. The Gayekwad Government rewarded this village to the Dakor Ranchodji Temple committee during the pre English invasion period. Now, it is under the panchayat rule. Patidar is the main community of the village. Other communities reside here are Kshatriyas, Parmars, Vohra, Suthars and Harijans. Agriculture and animal husbandry are the major occupation of people, and bajra and brinjal are the main crops. One of the biggest factories producing animal food in Gujarat is situated here. There are about 63 small scale factories producing cement made products.
