Kamtha Shiva Temple is located at
Kamtha in
Gondiya District of
Maharashtra. Built by a local saint, Lahri Baba, the temple enshrines the idol of
Lord Shiva as the presiding deity. Thousands of devotees visit the shrine every year, especially on Guru Purnima.
Mahashivaratri is observed here with great fervor and gaiety.
