Kamru

Kamru, located at an altitude of 2800 m, is a small village in Kinnaur District of Himachal Pradesh. It is only 2 km from Sangla. There is a temple of Bhim Kali where human sacrifices were definitely offered at one time.

Kamru is also famous for an old fort, constructed from wood and stone and decorated with gabled roofs. Slate-roofed stone houses, and the wood-and-stone gable-roofed fort are worth a view. On the border of the village lies the saffron farm which is also notable.
