Kameshwaram




Kameshwaram, located in Karimnagar District, is about 130 km from Karimnagar and 32 km from Manthani. It lies on the convergence of the Pranahitha River and Godavari River. Kameshwaram is a beautiful spot, bounded by thick forests. The place is renowned for an ancient temple dedicated to Mukteshwara swamy. The unique feature of the temple is that two Shiva lingams are found on a single pedestal.
