Kalyandurg




Kalyandurg is around 20 km west of Anantapur and is a taluk headquarters of Anantapur District.

The entire area of Kalyandurg has red soil and is rich in natural resources. The annual rainfall in this region is very low. It is one of the major producers of maize and grape in the district.

Enumaladoddi, around 19 km south of Kalyandurg, is famed for its floating island and an ashram dedicated to a saint.

Bangalore International Airport is the nearest airport. Anantapur Railway Station is the nearest major railhead.
