Kaluha Jain Temple




Placed at the top of the hill, Kaluha Jain Temple is a holy place dedicated to Bhagwan Sheetalnath, the 10th Jain tirthankar. Festivals associated with Bhagvan Sheetalnatha are celebrated with pomp and splendor here. A huge lake is seen near the temple. Other ruined statues are found in the premises.

Kaluha is 67 km from Gaya. One has to follow the route Gaya to Dhobhi (32 km), Dhobhi to Hunterganj (15 km), Hunterganj to Ghanghri (8 km). Dantargaon is 8 km from Ghanghri. Lodging and boarding facilities are available in the Jain dharamshala at Dantargaon. The climb to shrine is about 3 km at an altitude of about 500 m.
