Kalarivathukkal Kaliyattam is a
theyyam festival celebrated at
Chirakkal, 6 km from
Kannur. This grand ceremony takes place at the
Kalarivathukkal Shri Bhagavati Temple, one of the most famous
Bhadrakali temples in the northern part of
Kerala.
Every year the festival is held in the month of May, from 21st to 30th. It witnesses a large assemblage of different theyyams. Various cultural programs are also arranged as part of the celebrations.
