Kalam is a picturesque village, near Nirmal, in Thane District. Kalam was once the headquarters of Kadamb royal family.
The beaches of Kalam are clean with steep slopes, and the surroundings are dotted with coconut trees. Aagashi Jain Mandir and Arnala Fort are among the tourist attractions around.
