Kajinag Mountain

Kajinag Mountain, located in Handwara of Kupwara District, forms the line of control between India and Pakistan. Handwara is 26 km from Sopore and 88 km north of Srinagar.

This splendid mountain, measuring 4732 m tall, remains snow clad most of the years. The main attraction is the Kajinag Spring, located on the top, from which the mountain derived its name. Satkul Nag Spring also adds it charm.
