Kaikari Mandi



A traditional South Indian dish, Kaikari Mandi is a medley of many varieties of vegetables cooked in rice water with tamarind and kalparasi. The taste and texture of all the vegetables are finely balanced. It has an exquisite balance of tamarind and masala. This dish, popular in Chettinad area of Tamil Nadu, is usually served as a side dish during a full course south Indian vegetarian meal.
