Kahwa

Kahwa is the traditional Kashmiri tea made in Kashmiri Samovar, a large decorated urn with live coals underneath. Kahwa is a blend of chosen spices with tea. Popularly consumed with added saffron, cardamom, cinnamon and almond, this honey colored tea is an energizing drink during winter nights or rainy days. A typical Kashmiri day starts with this aromatic hot tea. The flavour is enhanced on adding sugar and milk.
