Kagbhusandi Lake

Situated near Kankul Pass (5,230 m), Kagbhusandi Lake is famous for its emerald green water. It is about one kilometer in length and can be approached either from Bhiundhar village, near Ghangharia, or from Vishnu Prayag. The trek from Vishnu Prayag, though longer, is easier. The trek from Bhiundhar passes through thick forests and involves walking long distances across glacial rocks that are slippery.
