Kadavakurichi Hill




Located 4 km south west of Nilakottai town headquarters of Nilakottai taluk in Dindigul District, Kadavakurichi Hill is an isolated hillock covering an area of 912 hectares. The surrounding area is made of sediments eroded from the weathered base rock except for a thin strip of alluvial soils along the Marudanadhi and Vaigai rivers. The reserve forest at Kadavakurichi covers an area of nearly 10 sq km.
