Kadappathala Devi Temple




Kadappathala Devi Temple is located at Pippinmoodu near Sasthamangalam in Thiruvananthapuram. The temple is about 6 km away from Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station.

Kadappathala Devi, one of the forms of Goddess Durga, is the presiding deity here. Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesh, Goddess Kali and snake gods are other deities worshipped. The main offerings are pushpabhishekam, mrithyumjaya homam and Ganapathy homam.

The annual festival is celebrated during February-March. Women offer pongala during the festival.
