Kadambur




Located 32 km from Tuticorin, Kadambur is a small, ancient village famous for marvelous Chola temples, constructed in the 12th century. The present village is in two parts, namely Melakkadambur and Kilakkadambur. The temples in these villages are the finest examples of authentic Chola temple architecture.

Kadambur Railway Station lies on the Kovilpatti-Tirunelveli railway line.
