Kadalundi River

Also Known as Karimpuzha, Oravananpurampuzha



Kadalundi River is formed by the confluence of its two main tributaries, the Olipuzha and the Veliyar. Olipuzha originates from Cherakomban hill and Veliyar from Erattakomban hill. Kadalundipuzha, 130 km in length, is the largest river that flows through Malappuram district. From the navigation point of view, it plays an important place in the economy of the district. Kadalundi River merges into the Arabian Sea at Kadalundi.
