Kachna Fort



Kachna Fort is positioned on the eastern edge of the Satmala range of Nasik region in the Sahyadris. The fort is at a height of 3722 feet and is ideal for rock climbing. There are rock cut rooms and water tanks. The final peak is a challenging climb. The fort can be reached by crossing Baflya (a small hill) and Vadalbari (a deep cut) near the Kanchan-Manchan Khind.

Nasik can be driven to from Mumbai (190 km) and Pune (209 km). Nasik airport is 39 km from the city and the railway station is at a distance of 44 km.
